DS ANC DAK Notice F0 (2223 DSFANC): Improving Patient Care

This investment was used to re-use and create OpenMRS tooling to support implementation of the ANC SMART Guidelines. Our consortium:

  1. Conducted user research to inform adaptations of OpenMRS modules and tooling using the ANC DAK;
  2. Mapped ANC concepts and created an ANC form based on SMART Guidelines;
  3. Created an OpenMRS CQL module and improved the Patient Flag Module to support ANC SMART guidance for clinical decision support;
  4. Adapted OpenMRS’ existing Reporting module and tooling to generate ANC DAK-based program indicators and reporting into the ANC package.

DS QA Notice F2 (2223 DSFQA3)Expanding Quality Assurance

OpenMRS and University of Washington aim to advance OpenMRS shelf-readiness by utilizing the OpenMRS fellowship program to develop a capacity building pipeline of highly-skilled, advanced quality assurance engineers . By bringing together experienced community members in the QA team and local in-country engineers, this investment will be used to:

1) build a structured and measurable QA fellowship pipeline for community sustainability and local country-based capacity.

2) strengthen OpenMRS product and interoperability quality assurance and compliance.

CDC PEPFAR: Technical Assistance Platform        (2223 TAPPY3)

In partnership with PATH, this award aims to:

1) coordinate efforts to create and improve OpenMRS+OHRI technologies for use among target implementations.

2) increase implementer engagement and capacity to develop OpenMRS projects collaboratively.

3) improve quality of OpenMRS+OHRI products and implementations through the adoption and use of open source software development practices, and best practices, processes, and tooling for proactive quality improvement/assurance strategies.
