Mozambique welcomes you to this years' OpenMRS Implementers' annual meeting!
This year's theme is:
Harmonizing and strengthening the OpenMRS ecosystem.
This is the 13th OpenMRS Implementers’ conference, the 7th in Africa and the 2nd to be held in Maputo, Mozambique at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Center.
Mozambique hosted (I-Tech Mozambique and Jembi Health Systems) the 2015 OpenMRS conference which focused on Building Quality Systems, Delivering Useful Data. This year Mozambique is looking into bringing all the community members together to share and demonstrate how the different OpenMRS implementations can be leveraged to produce a stronger and sustainable OpenMRS ecosystem. The Mozambique team will show case the different implementations they have and share their experience in the use of OpenMRS.
The conference will also aim to consolidate all the different initiatives that are taking place in the community such the Microfront end development activities and the series of hackathons that have taken place over the course of this year.
The 2019 Conference Program will kick off with a hackthon which will be followed by the official opening of the conference. There will also be “unconferencing” session, panel discussion(Fish bowl), lighting talks and site visits.
The conference aims to achieve the following:

OpenMRS platform developers – anyone building systems to integrate with or extend OpenMRS.
Developers of related health and healthcare application software.
Health practitioners, researchers and publishers.
Any other implementor of OpenMRS and its distributions.
This event provides an opportunity for developers to collaborate and improve their technical skills in OpenMRS, implementers to share their best practices from implementations, and users to propose and prioritize their top features in future releases of the software.
