The OpenMRS community maintains several mailing lists for announcements and communication. We use Google Groups to manage our mailing lists, but you can subscribe from any e-mail address--you don't need a Google Account to subscribe.

Primary mailing list for OpenMRS developers. Used for design discussions and development troubleshooting. 

Implementers

implementers@openmrs.org

Community mailing list for people using, considering using, or interested in OpenMRS.

Users

users@openmrs.org

Community mailing list for people using OpenMRS (data managers, providers, patients, researchers, etc.).

SVN Commits

svn@openmrs.org

Receive a summary of every commit to the OpenMRS repository. Replies are directed to the Developers list to promote code review. 

Security Updates

security@openmrs.org

OpenMRS security notifications. Note: These go to the Implementers list as well, so you do not need to subscribe to this list if you are subscribed to the implementers mailing list. 

Infrastructure Status

status@openmrs.org

Receive notifications of OpenMRS.org infrastructure status updates (e.g., hosted server issues). 

Interns

interns@openmrs.org

Mailing list for interns and mentors working on mentored OpenMRS projects (e.g., Google Summer of Code projects, externally funded mentored projects, or volunteer mentored projects). Used for administrative announcement or conversations specific to people involved in mentored projects. Development discussions by interns should happen in the OpenMRS Developers group.

Using the lists

After subscribing, simply send mail to the corresponding e-mail address above to communicate with the list, and all subscribers will receive your message.

Unsubscribing

Each mail you receive from a mailing list will include unsubscribe information. You may also send an e-mail from your subscribed address to listname+unsubscribe@openmrs.org (for example, dev+unsubscribe@openmrs.org) to stop receiving e-mail.
