|title||Welcome to the |
We are working hard to grow the OpenMRS community, since we believe this is the best way to help patients within developing countries through a robust and extensible medical record system foundation. The unrelenting pandemic of HIV/AIDS along with the burden of malaria and drug-resistant tuberculosis demand coordinated and rapid responses. Working together, we hope to reduce the amount of redundant efforts in collecting and managing medical information in these settings. We hope you can use and expand the information in this wiki to enhance communication and collaboration.
The wiki is divided into several spaces. Please make sure the content you create is located in the appropriate space so others can find it more easily.
If you had a user profile page on MediaWiki, you'll need to make a new one. Even if you didn't, now's the perfect time to complete your profile details !
The OpenMRS Wiki is a community-maintained collection of documentation about our software and about our community.
If you previously accessed the wiki/JIRA – you still have access. Otherwise, new OpenMRS IDs recently created after 13 June 2016, please contact the Help Desk to request access to the wiki for edit/write access. You can browse anonymously. Please explain why you need access. We are now manually granting edit/write access to the wiki to prevent spam.
OpenMRS volunteers work hard to share knowledge and maintain this information, and we encourage you to help by fixing errors, updating knowledge, and adding comments or questions to pages.
If you're new to OpenMRS, read Introduction to OpenMRS for background about what we're doing, and visit openmrs.org/help to get involved.
