This project was merged with the Update HTMLFormEntry WYSIWYG Editor project in GSoC 2011.

Background

Purpose

The purpose of this project is to have the HTML Form Entry update the form schema tables used by other OpenMRS form entry technologies, and to allow simple HTML Form layouts to be generated from a schema

Required Skills

  • Strong Java development skills

Objectives

  1. Whenever a user saves an HTML Form, this must update the form, field, and form_field tables related to that form.
  2. Support generating a simple row-per-question HTML Form layout from a form schema built via the graphical schema editor tool.

Extra Credit

  1. Move the schema viewer from HTML Form Entry into core, so that it may be used with Infopath and XForms as well.
