Stopping the Current Validation Process

  • User can explicitly stop all the validation threads in the module by clicking 'Stop Validation' button. Once we hit that. all the running validation threads are interrupted and a message will be displayed as validation threads are stopped.

 

If you do not stop the validation explicitly, it will be stopped anyway and will start a new validation process when 'Validate Types' button is clicked next time. However if you explicitly use 'Stop Validation' button use it after viewing the validation report by 'Show Report' option, else the previous validation report will be lost once you select to 'Stop Validation'.
