I think this page should be broken down by operating system with at least place holder TODO's for operating system that there isn't documentations for. A lot of the time the installation process won't take place on windows so we need to separate this. Do others agree?

Yes, I agree. However, hopefully the installation process is simplified with the completion of an all-in-one package: http://tickets.openmrs.org/browse/TRUNK-1798
