What's new since 1.9 Beta?

OpenMRS 1.9.0 RC has a number of bug fixes made in the past couple of weeks in the core application and some bundled modules like reporting and form entry. It also has a new link "Getting Started with OpenMRS" under the help page which points to the OpenMRS guide book. Check below for the complete listing of the bug fixes in the core application.You can download OpenMRS 1.9 RC to try/test it.

We do not recommend using this in a production environment!

Community Input

We welcome any user to download OpenMRS 1.9.0 RC and try it out, give us feedback, and potentially bug reports on this release. We especially ask current users try this version out on their own database and with their custom modules.

Even if you don't have time to do any thorough testing, we'd really appreciate it if you can upgrade a copy of your database to the 1.9 data model, and report on any errors than may occur in the upgrade script.
