This version of OpenMRS Platform is a prerelease and not considered worthy for production use. Its function is to give users an idea of what to expect in the upcoming major release (Platform 2.5.0) and help discover any possible obscure new bugs.
Security Fix
This pre-release is simply fixing a Security threat in the log4j library which exposes a server to attackers. The issue can result in an unauthenticated attacker obtaining control of the server.

tendo kiiza Martyn why not just do a final release? Do you expect any one to do the security testing?
