- Road Map
- 1.8 and 1.9
- We are starting to move in front of the design for each
- Continue to identify what will be included and excluded from each version
- Hospital Information Systems
- Discussion occurred over what we mean by "support" for hospital systems
- On the road map people identified this as a priority
- Plan is to ask community/users what specifically they are looking for
- Hamish spoke with Richard Gakuba in Rwanda about hospital systems and the ability to use OpenMRS as a desktop EMR project, eventually looking towards a point where doctors can do direct data entry
- Discussion occurred over what we mean by "support" for hospital systems
- Mobile Data Collection
- As we work with more community health interfaces, we need to address metadata issues about how to assign families or data to families rather than individuals
- This is in reference to a case when a home visit is made to the entire family and making the data during this visit easier to record
- Additional ideas:
- Have the ability to design forms from the OMRS side and having ways to collect those on multiple and different devices
- Creating a way to interact with data on mobile device rather than just collecting the data (ie. having the ability to review previous data)
- Suggestions:
- OMRS is doing something to help those data collection tools to work with OMRS
- We need an idea of what the mobile community needs
- What is the essential workflow for a scenario that we want to support
- As we work with more community health interfaces, we need to address metadata issues about how to assign families or data to families rather than individuals
