We quickly discovered that this is a massive topic that we can hardly begin to address in a 1 hour break out session. We noticed two trends that the OpenMRS community might want to address:

  • The community is shifting from mainly developers to mainly users.
  • Initially a few major organizations supported most OpenMRS implementations and were able to share expertise and implementation models/strategies internally. Now many more organizations and individuals are trying to implement OpenMRS and it would be useful to capture these models, strategies, and experiences as an online resource, analogous to the developer documentation that developers have collected on this wiki.
